Looking for somewhere to stay that’s large and awesome? How does more than 2,000 square feet of space, 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, room for up to 10 people, a large pool, and a games room sound to you? If you like what you’re hearing, this vacation villa may be the place for you and your family / group.
As you enter the villa, you’ll most probably first notice the tile floors and vaulted ceilings, which work together to make the rooms feel large and airy. The living room has 3 brown sofas, built-in wall shelving, and a large flat screen TV. The lounge is the top choice for those who just want to relax and watch some TV after a long day out at the parks. Enjoy cooking? If so, you’ll enjoy the kitchen. It comes full equipped with everything you’d possibly need to make the most complicated of recipes. It also has plenty of counterspace to work on, modern appliances, and a large island that doubles as a breakfast bar, which has seating for two. Need more room for others to sit down? Try the breakfast nook, which seats 4. Still not enough? Use the formal dining suite, which seats 6.
Let’s talk about the bedroom layout. There are 5 bedrooms. The first bedroom, the master bedroom, has a king-size bed and a large en-suite bathroom with dual vanities, a garden tub, and a walk-in shower. Bedroom two also has a king-size bed. Bedroom three has a queen-size bed, and bedrooms four and five both have two single beds, which are perfect for smaller kids to sleep in. Don’t worry, all bedrooms come with their own TV.
I saved the best for last: the pool and games room. The screened-in pool area is located at the back of the villa. It has a long, thin swimming pool and spa, sun loungers, and a table and chairs under the lanai. If you’re done with being outside in the Florida heat, why not head indoors to the converted garage, which is now the games room. Here, there is a basketball game, pool, and air hockey. These activities are sure to keep you occupied for hours.

Community Details

Solana Resort is located just to the southwest of Walt Disney World, just off Highway 27 between I-4 and US Highway 192 and has a gated entrance. This makes it ideally placed for access to the main roads to any of Central Florida’s attractions from the Gulf Coast to the Space Coast, and of course the theme parks!
Only 15 minutes from Disney, it is located off one of the areas fastest developing roads (Highway 27). Getting to anywhere in the Central Florida area is a breeze. It also means that you are close to some of the areas best golf courses if you are intending a golf vacation, such as Highlands Reserve Golf Club which is only 1 mile away, Orange Lake Golf Club and Greg Norman’s Champions Gate to name only a few.
The community of Solana has a clubhouse open daily from 7:30am - 9:00pm with a games room and picnic area, heated community pool with a depth from 3ft to 5ft with hot tub and is open from dawn to dusk, internet café with 7 computers, spacious lounge with large flat screen TV, snack room, fitness room, climbing wall, putting green for practicing before hitting the many golf courses in the area, beach volleyball court and a grassed five-a-side soccer pitch. The community also has a family-oriented activity schedule that changes monthly.
Sea World and Universal Studios, amongst others, are also just a short drive away. Convenient too for shopping, including the factory outlets and superb Florida and Millennia Malls, it is going to be difficult to fit everything into a single vacation!
Solana is conveniently only a 4.5 miles from the areas newest Super Wal-Mart for groceries and about everything else you could want or need. They even have an International Food Isle selling all the British favorites from Branston Pickle to Heinz Baked Beans in tomato sauce!

Development Information

Solana Resort, Orlando is a gated community situated in the popular Davenport area. Its perfect location off the bustling Highway 27 places you close to an excellent choice of shops, supermarkets and restaurants. The delights of Disney are just 15 minutes away, whilst other major theme parks and attractions in Orlando such as SeaWorld and Universal are easily reached within a half hour drive. The nearby Highway 192 and Interstate 4 give you easy access to explore the rest of Florida, including the beautiful beaches of the Gulf coast or the awe-inspiring Kennedy Space Center just over an hour away.

Solana Resort boasts fantastic facilities. Perhaps its best feature is the large clubhouse overlooking the expansive, communal swimming pool, which is surrounded by a generously furnished sun-deck and overlooked by palms trees. Cabanas are available offering you that bit of extra shade, or you can cool off with a drink available from the poolside bar whilst relaxing in the hot tub. Next to the pool is a picnic and barbecue area, meaning you needn't stray too far from your sunbathing for vital refreshment and replenishment.

If you are feeling more active, Solana Resort has its own fitness centre with the latest gym equipment, sand volleyball courts and a recreation field if you fancy a spot of football (or soccer!). Arcade games and a children's playground are also available, complete with climbing ribbon for the older children. One of the key attractions of Solana Resort though is the 18-hole mini golf course, which provides the ideal opportunity to get some practice in should you wish to take advantage of one of the numerous championship golf courses situated in the neighbouring areas. Computers and free Wifi are available in the clubhouse, and an onsite shop is there for your convenience keeping you well stocked of important sundries and souvenirs. Solana Resort also has its own concierge service, offering you top tips on where to go in Orlando and how to plan the holiday of a lifetime.
