All well known shopping mall's are in close proximity. Just next to the sub division is a shopping area that includes a major supermarket along with various restaurants and bars, so there's no need to venture too far away if you don't want to!The deck benefits from the sun for most of the day. This quiet, extended deck provides a perfect space to relax after busy days at the theme parks, on the golf course or at the many shopping centers. A Publix supermarket is located just around the corner and the nearby Highway 192 provides easy access to the rest of Orlando. Walt Disney World is just 15 minutes away and other popular Orlando attractions such as SeaWorld and Universal are also relatively close by.

The development itself is set in beautiful, peaceful surroundings with attractive gardens, many of which overlook the site's 18-hole PGA championship golf course. Highlands Reserve also benefits from having its own tennis courts and a play area for children.
